Sofia Caponi, born in the Tuscan hills and raised a stone’s throw from the sea, creative from the first paintings on the walls of her house and passionate about fashion from the first styling to dolls The choice to study fashion was obvious, so it was that in 2015 the course of studying as afashion designer at the Polimoda Fashion Institute in Florence began. During my years in the academy I managed to gain more knowledge of my skills and working with prints and colours is what has characterised me the most.

Immediately after graduation, I worked as a Print&Graphics designer assistant for the Venetian company “Diesel”,working closely with the designer of Beachwear and Intimo, a constructive experience regarding the management of the work, but also for the growth of my technical knowledge on the various types of industrial printing and the knowledge of Adobe programs.

I love to destroy and then recompose, combine contrasts and think out of the ordinary working with prints, textures, quality fabrics and proportions; I have a great passion for the sartorial structure of clothes and I greatly admire crafts and those who work with sustainable thinking for the environment and for humanity.

I believe that the realisation of a collection is the Manifesto of one’s ideas and expressing a message through clothing has always fascinated me;creating and speaking through a dress is what I can do best, I have a great dedication in my work, I always try not to leave anything to chance.
